Job Title: Inbound Bilingual Customer Service Representative

Department: Customer Service

Reports To: Customer Care Assistant Manager

FLSA Status: Non – Exempt

Responsibilities:

Responsible for handling telephone and email inquiries from CLEAR TALK customer base.  Goal is to take care of customer questions, complaints and billing questions, update and maintain customer information, and help retain customer base by offering alternative solutions to customer where appropriate.  Customer Service Representative will communicate with customers using telephone and web-based tools. The Customer Service Representative may work full time or part time - up to 40 hours per week, day, and evening, weekend or holiday hours.  Occasional overtime may be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote our company and staff in a positive manner at all times when dealing with team members and others within and outside our organization.
  • Continually maintain working knowledge of company products, service and promotions.
  • Meet quantity and quality goals as assigned.
  • Demonstrate continued and consistent proficiency in skill sets utilized within a Call Center.
  • Receive and process incoming calls and/or email as needed to ensure service levels are maintained.
  • Answer customer inquiries / complaints concerning services, products, equipment and billing with highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
  • Make recommendations according to customers’ needs on features, equipment, accessories and rate plans.
  • Make financial decisions to protect/collect revenues and adjust customer accounts.
  • Obtain, enter and verify customer information.
  • Support and backup sales and retail/ dealer operations i.e. activating accounts, taking customer payments, programming handsets, etc.
  • Utilize computer-based and operations systems to initiate and complete service orders, process purchases /payments and update or enter customer information.
  • Adhere to scripts and cross sell or upsell as necessary.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 1 year call center customer service experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Professional telephone skills to include good listening skills and good oral communication skills.
  • Ability to use web based tools.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in typing and grammar.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts and recommends solutions.
  • Working knowledge of basic computer operations.
  • High energy, self-motivated, detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous image.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules.

Summary

A position as a Wireless Service and Repair Technician at CLEAR TALK is an integral part of ensuring customers are happy with their wireless experience. Wireless Service and Repair Technicians are responsible for Triaging, Diagnosing and Repairing wireless devices. This includes use of Product Support Tools to flash software and settings, testing devices, replacement of displays, charging ports and other internal components and requires use of small tools and soldering irons.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve customer issues relating to equipment related problems, including but not limited to operational, maintenance and repair aspects of equipment.
  • Meet or exceed all Service and Repair measures.
  • Adhere to CLEAR TALK service workflow and service models to ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Achieves service goals and performance requirements through accurate diagnosis, repair, and processing of CLEAR TALK devices.
  • Maintains the day to day operations of a retail service and repair facility.
  • Complete triage to minimize customer downtime.
  • Meet or exceed monthly Customer Satisfaction targets.
  • Verify all service equipment is functioning including store display units.
  • Set proper customer expectations for service times, device features and capabilities.
  • Educate customers on loyalty programs.
  • Balance the most cost effective repair/resolution with the customer experience.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reporting as required by CLEAR TALK policy.
  • Achieves monthly sales quotas through actively selling CLEAR TALK products and services.
  • Provides a high level of customer service support with product expertise and advanced selling skills.
  • Guides customer through the purchasing decisions, activations process and educates the customer on their new purchase.
  • Develops new customer prospects or referrals and builds customer relationships to drive sales.
  • Assists in all aspects of the day to day operation of a CLEAR TALK Sales and Service Center including but not limited to: Operating a Cash Drawer; Store Opening/Closing Duties; Inventory; Merchandising; Sales & Customer Service Activities.

Requirements:

  • Wireless retail service and repair experience is necessary.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to accurately manipulate small tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent minimum.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Energetic and positive attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism.
  • Must be reliable and have high personal integrity.
  • Available for a flexible retail work schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Must have a desire to succeed in a monthly quota driven environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
