In 2012, the South Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will be further investing into the community by starting the Entrepreneur Empowerment Series. This initiative from the SCHCC will offer a variety of courses, seminars, and workshops geared towards empowering attendees with valuable knowledge in the areas of business planning, marketing, operations, ethics, human resources, law, finances, and accounting. The series will be expanded to cover other subjects throughout the year.
Business owners, employees, and people considering starting a business will find the series useful. The programs will generally be comprehensive in nature and will seek to increase the attendees’ knowledge in the respective series’ subjects.
The programs in this series will be free of charge and will be open to the entire community.

The South Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will be presenting a series of free workshops collectively entitled the “2011 Entrepreneur Empowerment Series”. The first course in the series will begin Thursday, August 4, 2011.
The Business Development Seminar is designed for start-ups and small business owners who desire to expand their knowledge of business in the areas of marketing, finance, accounting, management, insurance, and taxes.
This seminar will meet every Thursday in August from 6:30pm - 8:30pm at The University Center of Greenville.
Registration is free, and all are welcome to attend. This course will be conducted in English. A Spanish version of this seminar will be offered in October.
